Chef Tiyah has been vegan for over 25 years. Being raised in a strictly plant-based household; cooking and being vegan came naturally to her. She learned most of her culinary skills from her family’s international plant-based restaurant.
She spent over 3 years working closely with renowned holistic CEO and founder Dr.Baruch of Elife Restaurant. Throughout her tenure with Dr.Baruch she learned the business and holistic side of being vegan. So not only can she cook, she knows how to properly mix herbs and blend them with foods to keep you healthy on the inside while not compromising taste.
While Chef Tiyah went off to College she experienced many challenges adhering to her vegan diet. She was faced with the limited availability of plant-based options. This caused her to explore non-vegan options. This only lasted a few months, as she quickly began to notice the negative effects the dairy was having on her body. This began her journey to creating tasty vegan options that reminded her of her college days.
